Terrorism
On September 11, 2001, the United States suffered the deadliest attack ever on American soil. Since 2001, terrorists have found targets on almost every continent, with bombings in Bali, London, Madrid, and elsewhere, raising national and international security questions. Georgetown faculty experts can comment on issues surrounding global terrorism, including terrorism in the Middle East, intelligence and fighting the U.S. War on Terror, Iran and the development of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, state sponsored terrorism, counterterrorism tactics and the practice of suicide bombing.
A studio-quality ISDN service is available free of charge to radio news outlets who would like to interview Georgetown University faculty. If you are interested in scheduling a live or pre-recorded interview via the ISDN line please contact the Office of Communications at (202) 687-4328.
